Are you looking for a challenging internship during which you are the essential link in a motivated team? Our guest department is looking for an Interview Coordinator with excellent communicative skills, an eye for detail and some stress-resistant organisational talent. Sounds like you? Apply now for an internship in our guest department!

Every year Film Fest Ghent receives some 300 national and international guests: from filmmakers proudly presenting their projects to composers who are being celebrated at the World Soundtrack Awards. Their attendance at the festival usually attracts some attention from the press. And to make this all run as smoothly as possible, we need you!

All our guests are received and accompanied by our guest department, while journalists are assisted by our press department. As our Interview Coordinator you are the link between our guests, distributors and journalists.

    • You create the daily schedules in close collaboration with the guest department and you make sure the schedule is up-to-date

    • You make sure the timing and restrictions of the interviews are respected

  • What profile are we looking for?
    • You have excellent communicative skills and you are fluent in English

    • You are precise but never lose sight of the bigger picture

    • You're efficient, a born entrepreneur and you're not scared to make frequent phone calls

    • Affinity with film is a plus

    • You're accurate, punctual, result-driven and independent

    • You're stress-resistent and flexible
