Students

From September onwards, film students who wish to attend the festival (8–19 Oct) can apply for accreditation via their personal MyFFG profile on our website. The deadline for accreditation requests is 2 October 2025.

As a film or film music student at KASK, LUCA School of Arts C-mine, LUCA School of Arts Narafi, LUCA School of Arts Sint-Lukas, RITCS, ARTS² Mons, CNSMD Lyon, Royal Conservatory of Brussels (composition, screen music orientation), or Royal Conservatory of Antwerp (composition, elective screen scoring), you are eligible to apply for accreditation for Film Fest Gent.

This accreditation grants you access to:

  • Press screenings from Tuesday 7 October to Saturday 18 October, subject to availability
  • A small selection of public screenings, subject to availability. The selection will be announced shortly before and during the festival. One day before the screening, you can reserve one free ticket per film online via MyFFG or at the P&I Office.

  • The Press & Industry Office at Kinepolis

  • The online VOD library with a selection of festival films

  • Talks and masterclasses on film and film music, such as during the WSA Film Music Days

How do I apply for my student accreditation?

From September, you can apply for student accreditation via your personal MyFFG profile.

! Please note: when creating a MyFFG profile, make sure to select a ‘professional’ account !

Once your request has been approved, you will receive an e-voucher with which you can collect your accreditation pass from Tuesday 7 October 2025 onwards at the Press & Industry Office, open from 8:30 to 19:00, at Kinepolis Gent (Ter Platen 12).

Applications submitted after the October deadline will not be processed.
