Student Matchmaking at World Soundtrack Awards
It's not always easy to make your first steps into the film (music) industry. How do you build a network, meet people and gain new projects? The WSA Film Music Days aims to help students with this challenge. Not only through organizing talks and masterclasses, but also with a student-only matchmaking event. Based on the students' profiles, we match (film) music students to film or game development students. This way, we hope to energize young talents, foster collaborations and give birth to new projects. As this unique matchmaking event is tailored to students only, we require that each student signs up before the end of September.
Registrations are open now until the 25th of September. You will receive detailed information about the event within a week after registrations are closed. The matchmaking will take place on 9th October between 12.00-14.30, during the WSA 2026 Film Music Days (8-10 Oct), at Film Fest Gent.
