Laura and Amelia have been life long friends, sharing practically everything through good and bad. But now, at 29, they're facing the need for other permanent relationships. Laura, living comfortably with her boyfriend Frank, decides to take the plunge and get married. And Amelia, with the help of her motley crew of loved ones - her cat Big Jeans, her ex-lover Andrew, her therapist - decides that being single and not too depressed is not so bad after all. So Amelia prepares to quit therapy and Laura prepares for marriage - and that's when things start falling apart...
