Way out in the woods of Norway we meet gas station owner Lasse. Lasse's enthusiasm is fading, and he is always trying to find excuses to spend time on his con-amore project. In the back of his garage he is building a plane that, one day, will take him up in the air and away from the station, to a new life. Gunn, 19, is an African philosophy student from Bergen. She works at the station whenever Lass is at work on his secret plane. On the day before the national elections, this gas station becomes the focal point of eight different intertwined stories full op surprises: all base on the various philosophies of Norway's major political parties.
