The Sum of Us

Harry is a beer-drinking, straight-down-the-line widower looking for a woman. His son Jeff is a beer drinking, straight-down-the-line plumber who happens to be gay, a fact that his broad-minded dad has accepted with surprising ease and grace. They share a house but are both lonely and start getting on each other’s nerves. Harry’s way out is to sign on with “Desiree’s Introduction Agency" where he finds and pursues Joyce, a divorcee who responds to his old-fashioned style of courtship. Jeffs way out is more up-to-date. He tries to make a go of things with Greg, a hunky gardener he met at the local pub.
