Daily installs Albertas himself in an elevator. Almost nobody is using it. For years Albertas kills time waiting to someone to go up or down. His daily routine, thought seemingly senseless, means something for him. By being there he isn’t cut out of society, lives with time while time lives in him. And what’s more sensefull? The choreography of hurried people driving their cars up and down or the modest solitude of Albertas’ existance? Arnus Matelis film is a small allegoric treat.
