Scenes from the Class Struggle in Beverly Hills

Edition 1990
103' - 1989 - Comedy - Dialogue: English
Director: Paul Bartel Composer: Stanley Myers With: Jacqueline Bisset, Ray Sharkey, Mary Woronov
Clare, a one time sitcom queen keen for a comeback, has buried her swinish husband Sidney, who materializes and pledges his infernal love to her. Clare's neighbour, Lisabeth, has just moved In with her daughter Zandra because the exterminators are at the house, removing every trace of her ex-husband. Now these women and two others must fend off, or hop on, a platoon of randy males: Lisabeth's wormy ex, her playwright brother, her invalid prodigy son and two manservants. "We're from different stratagems of society," Juan croons to Lisabeth. "But I want to cross over. Like Ruben Blades."
