Rock 'n Roll Junkie

Rock N Roll Junkie is a biographical film about Dutch painter, “poet" and rock 'n roll singer Herman Brood, who is renowned for his bohemian lifestyle, his music and his art. Over a 1 year period, a film crew followed Brood, shooting both private and public moments. It was a turbulent year for Brood. His band disintegrated and he divorced his wife; then, he formed a new band, recorded a new CD and found the new love of his life. In addition interviews were made with key figures from Brood's past and present: his mother, ex-wife, ex-band members and colleagues such as Nina Hagen.
