Driven by an obsession, Alexander Novak travels to Prague, city of his forefathers, in search of a missing piece of film - footage of his family - a link to the vanished past. The city's magic immediately casts its spell on Alexander and from the moment of his arrival nothing goes according to plan; when he rushes to the aid of a stray dog he almost drowns. At the film archive, he meets Elena and is immediately beguiled by her open sensuality and unpredictability. Alter being introduced to one of her greatest passions wrestling - an affair begins.
