Musiques du cinema europeen

The film pays homage through new technology to traditionel European cinema. This documentary invites the public to discover European High Definition technology, digital sound and a well defined image. Music in European Film revolves around the musical themes of films by major European composers and directors. The Lisbon Nova Filamtonia conducted by Antoine Duhamel, was filmed by Joäo Correa during the rehearsals and the gala public concert of the European Cinema and Television Year in 1989. In an original montage, the director has inserted silent extracts trom famous films.
