Marattam

The film is based on a play in one act written by the renowned Malayalam poet and playwright Kavalam Panicker. The film takes only the theme from the play and tries to deal with the dichotomy of the artist/character: the relevance of the transformation of the actor into a character and vice versa. lt Is interesting to note that the play is based on a real life incident that happened a few decades back.
