This filmed portrait of composer Philip Glass is an intimate look at seven months of the life of this exceptional and atypical artist. From New York to London, from Paris to Boston, Eric Darmon’s camera observes his everyday life, his encounters and the many people he collaborates with. Exuberant activity and inexhaustible energy characterize the life of this great 67-year-old composer. Throughout the film, the composer looks back on his beginnings, comments his career and demonstrates his ability to move from concert to opera, from stage to screen, with a disconcerting ease. At the end of this cinematic journey, Philip Glass goes to Boston, where he is involved in the rehearsals of "The Sound Of Voice", his latest operatic creation, directed by Robert Woodruff. The last shot of the film is the composer back at home, alone and … on the phone for yet another project and more music …
