John Le Tour is a courier working in the drugs trade. He receives details about each job from Ann and delivers the goods directly to the customer. Le Tour wanders aimlessly through life; he had never dreamed that he would work as dealer but he enjoys working with Ann and the other couriers. A certain bond has developed between them over the years. However, the murder of a student, strongly suspected to have something to do with the narcotics trade, makes !heir job much more dangerous. Sooner or later An wants to gel out of this type of work.
