Everyday life in a modern rehabilitation center for handicapped children and young people. Especially in the evening and at night, life is concentrated in the corridors of this building complex. When other young people are going to discos or meeting in coffee bars, Nesrin and her friends squat on the floors of these long passages. Loneliness, sadness and violence towards the weaker members of this society are the reactions evoked by the cold atmosphere. The only ray of hope seems to lie in friendship. The love between Nesrin, bound to her wheelchair, and Didi, the thalidomide victim, might be so straightforward, so normal, if only...
