Every year, at the same period, on the top of a far away mountain, the triptych of Saint Alba gives off an extraordinary light for a few seconds. This light has the amazing property of putting the people present in contact with their deepest reality. Bu this time an unfortunate accident makes the miracle impossible. Yet the pilgrims are there and they are waiting. Through this philosophical fable, the film attempts to touch on a universal phenomenon : religious feeling. This feeling bonds together oneself to oneself, oneself to the world or oneself to the absolute, to eternity… The idea is not to praise religion (whichever it may be) but rather to attempt to reveal how religious feelings nest in each one of us …(Pressbook)
