This romantic comedy is set in the milieu of Jit, the African scene of city jive. U.K., dazed after being thrown out of a taxi, sees Sofi leaning over to him, and his life becomes dedicated to the winning of her love. However, such a project is complicated: she doesn't love him, her father demands a high bride price and there is Johnson, her gangster boyfriend. Added to this is his grandmother, coming back to earth as his guiding spirit. Her plans for him largely revolve around his sending money to his parents in the country and keeping her supplied with beer. Hopeless odds, but needless to say U.K. wins through in this jolly romp of love and laughter.
