Jigsaw circus - south-africa

For the second time in row the JIGSAW CIRCUS team, which organizes the 2nd edition of its ‘international music video festival’ in february/march 2005 (JIGSAW 2/005::DEAD CIRCUS), will show a unique collection of music videos and commercials at the FIFF. This time the focus is on South-Africa’s ‘audiovisualizers’, in line with the FIFF’s general focus on the most southern part of our planet. With special attention for Terraplane, the production company that nurtures directors Daniel Levi and Trevor Clarence, the program will be a caleidoscopic event of hot, playful, funny, dark and ominent music videos & commercials. Levi, über-designer, started his career as a director in 2000, but is already ‘the most promising new director’, awarded by the Music Video Production Association. He did promos and commercials for Massive Attack, LFO, Nike and X-Box. Trevor Clarence conquered the world with his MTV 'Crazy Monkey' promos. Gifted with an uncanny flair for character creation and a great sense of humor, he stuffs his commercials with endearing and hilarious performances.
