I Like It Like That

The film unfolds through the eyes of Lisette Linares, a young wife and mother whose traditional role is challenged when her husband Chino lands in jail and she is forced to become solely responsible for the care and feeding of their three kids. Chino's macho reaction to his wife's new role sets off an unexpected turn of events in Lisette's claustrophobic life. I Like It Like That is a drama with romance and comedy about the emotional, sexual and economic tug of war between a young black and Latino couple set against the vibrant, colorful and passionate mores of Bronx street life.
