Joseph Schrevek, gifted with magical powers, knows that he is dying. For the last time, the old man will use his powers to try to accomplish a miracle: find his successor. Ivan, his son, doesn't have his supernatural powers. He finds compensation for his inferiority complex at the Yucca Club.
