Liliane and Leonard live in a beautiful mansion in the middle of the woods. This ‘castle’ has become the meeting-place for a group of friends: Lena, their handicapped daughter and her husband, Harry; Ushi, the lawyer of the family; a Chinese family who are helping in the household; Eddy and his new girl-friend; Mike, a policeman. The ‘Goldfish Game’ is the playful expression of their friendship and unity: everyone is gathered around the swimming-pool and at the sound of the starting shot, they have to undress as quickly as possible, jump into the water and try to be the first to find a little goldfish statue. Even Mike submits himself with pleasure to this compelling ritual. With the arrival of David, a police detective who has been invited in good faith by Mike, the identity of the group is threatened. It becomes obvious that everyone is keeping a secret …
