A DIME TOO SHORT
The Fifties In the Netherlands. A sixteen year-old boy and a girl of the same age meet each ether in Amsterdam. The boy plays truant, the girl is expelled from highschool for three days. Ankie lives under her mother's pressure and is especially influenced by the strict conventions of those days. Jop is more liberated because of or despite the noneducation of his father, and the two establish a relationship. Images of their roamîng through the city are intercut with Ankie's mother's search for her lost daughter, and Jop's father for his son.
