This film is part of Seven Years in May / Discipline, a collection of two mid-length films directed by Affonso Uchôa.
Kelly, a Portuguese language teacher, starts working at a public school. During a lesson, she gets into an argument with Nicolas, a young student. The quarrel brings some learning: Kelly understands that on the outskirts of Brazil the exception is the rule; and Nicolas learns that it is necessary to rebuild the present in order to see the future.
