This is the story of an 18-year-old young men working as a rikshaw-boy in present day Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam. Both his parents are dead. He lives with his grandfather and his two sisters in a slum. The boy tries to remain loyal to what his father, who once also worked as a rickshaw-boy and was killed in an accident a year ago, taught him: to use every available means to get on in society. One day his rickshaw is stolen. In order to get it back he has to proceed to sabotage. Soon he becomes caught up in organised crime...
