Combat de boxe

With André Cauvin and Henri Storck, Charles Dekeukeleire pioneered documentary filmmaking in Belgium. But the latter was also an experimentalist, occupying a prominent place in European avant-garde of the twenties. In that respect "Combat de boxe" was more than a documentary recording of a boxing match, it was conceived as a visual poem and meant as a study in movement.
