Circle of Friends

In the fall of 1957 Benny and Eve eagerly escape the dull confines of Knockglen, their hometown, to go to college in Dublin. There they meet up with Nan, a friend from grade school, who has learned her way around the university from her years as a precocious and social high school student. She introduces Benny and Eve to Jack Foley, the handsome and charming star of the rugby team and the romantic adventure begins. The adventure that ensues is a complicated and painful lesson on what happens when the naive notions of youth collide with the harsh realities of adulthood.
