Bell'amico (The Friend)

Mariano, a film director from Angola, is staying for a few days at Nicola’s, a university assistant who has recently been left by his girlfriend. But a few days of hospitality turn into a long term stay. Not only doesn't Mariano think of leaving, he intrudes more and more into Nicola’s privacy while the latter is suffering a deep depression for the end of his love story and lives in a permanent state of anxiety for his imminent exam as a university researcher. Mariano even starts filming every moment in Nicola’s life, taking possession of his clothes, money and customs. When Mariano goes too far, Nicola decides to throw him out. Unfortunately, Nicola's peacefulness doesn't last long as Mariano runs over a passer-by …
