Zorg, a poetic dreamer, tries, while confiding his most intimate thoughts and feelings to paper, making a living for himself by taking jobs as a painter or a plumber. One day he meets Betty, who will change this poet's life on the beach forever. Totally overwhelmed by her energy and her body, Zorg will know physical and mad love with her and then love in its purest form. Betty turns into his most devoted fan after reading some of his writing and sets her mind on having it published. But as their relationship evolves. Zorg begins to notice Betty's difficulties with herself...
