In a society where the public availability of original work increases, it seems necessary to defend the rights of authors of music at national, European and international level.
ECSA is a professional alliance formed by over fifty associates of composers and songwriters from all over Europe. Dr Vasco Hexel (Royal College of Music) moderates a conversation between ECSA Secretary General Patrick Ager, Danish film composer Frans Bak and Belgian singer-songwriter Sioen about the benefits of protecting author rights collectively.
