In The Great Escape, three geraniums break free from their lifeless existence on a windowsill. As an active participant, you step into the role of the third plant, trapped in endless boredom. Their owner Patrick - the only one with legs - is just as stuck in routine. But after one stolen smartphone, their view of the world changes abruptly: the geraniums upload a selfie to a plant-swapping platform and venture into the outside world, where reality proves unexpectedly harsh. What follows is a poetic and absurd journey through a world as inhospitable as it is wondrous. The viewer literally becomes the third geranium, experiencing the escape from the inside out. Featuring the voices of Chris Lomme, Julie Delrue, and Sam Louwyck, this VR experience touches on existential themes of freedom, identity, and imagination. A rare example of technology, humor, and philosophy blending into a sensory adventure that lingers long after it ends.
