Talk: De Rohmer Methode

The Screenwriters’ Guild, in collaboration with Film Fest Gent, is organising a talk with Classics curator Patrick Duynslaegher, screenwriter and director Bert Scholiers (Charlie en Hannah gaan uit [FFG2017], F*** You Very, Very Much) and actress Violet Braeckman. What brings them together is their love and admiration for Rohmer’s films. They will delve deeper into the filmmaker’s screenplays and cinematography, whilst also discussing his unique approach to working with his actors. This talk follows a screening of Conte d’automne, the final instalment of Rohmer’s last film cycle.
