On the 10th of October at the Vooruit, Jef Neve gives a live performance of the soundtrack of The Misfortunates (De Helaasheid der Dingen).
Pianist and composer Jef Neve has been the wonder boy of Flemish jazz for years. Having written the soundtrack for Felix van Groeningen’s film With Friends like These (Dagen zonder lief), they joined forces again for The Misfortunates, which opens Film Fest Gent at the Vooruit on the 6th of October.
For this exclusive event, the Jef Neve Trio - consisting of pianist Jef Neve, drummer Teun Verbruggen, and bassist Piet Verbist - performs the soundtrack to both films.
