Vent de colère

Bastien is a true eccentric, an old fashioned farmer with a smallholding in the Alps, resistant to agricultural developments in the twentieth century. Emotionally and financially exhausted by his attempts to maintain his farm, his only consolation in life is Louise, his beautiful 18 year old daughter. Louise is Bastien's one support, the last member of the family left to work the land. But her dreams are of travel, adventure and freedom, and even though Bastien grudgingly gives way to some of her ideas about modernising the farm, their relationship is on shaky ground. When Louise begins a tempestuous affair with Marc, a construction manager working on the region's new motorway, it drives Bastien to despair.
