Tro, håb og kærlighed (Twist and Shout)

99' - 1984 - Drama, Comedy - Dialogue: Danish
Director: Bille August Composer: Bo Holten With: Adam Tønsberg, Lars Simonsen, Camilla Søeberg
Four 16- to 17-year-olds are individually and collectively exposed to extremely trying experiences at a relatively early age. They are torn from their lively, carefree youth and suddenly thrust into adult life. Bjorn, Kirsten and Erik are in the same class in high school in 1963. Kirsten, who comes from an upper-class home, makes an energetic attempt to get fixed up with Bjorn, but he suddenly falls madly in love with Anna, a more mature girl he meets one evening at a dance. Their relationship comes to an abrupt end when Anna becomes pregnant and illegally gets rid of the foetus. Bjorn desperately tries to overcome his grief and shock by seeking comfort in Kirsten.
