The Three Faces of Eve

Director Nunnally Johnson Music (original) Robert Emmett Dolan Cast Joanne Woodward, David Wayne, Lee J. Cobb, Edwin Jerome
91' - 1957 - Mystery, Drama - Format: 35mm - Dialogue: English

Eve, a drab colourless Georgia housewife is married to a clueless hick. She suffers from multiple personalities. When a second personality emerges, a mischievous, irresponsible sexy dish, Eve is somehow sent to a psychiatrist. Eventually, a third personality appears: a sensible, intelligent and balanced woman who has apparently combined the best aspects of the other two personalities. There is much humor in this film, intentional or otherwise. The worship of doctors as superior beings is apparent, especially when doctor Luther states that he has no sexual interest in Eve because he is a doctor.
