In 18th century Mexico a miserable man, Macario, refuses to consume food unless he finds a turkey. He finds one and goes into the forest to have his meal. He refuses to share it with God or the Devil, but not with Death. Macario is based on a story tale by Bruno Traven inspired by the Grimm brothers and was filmed by one of Mexico' s greatest directors brilliantly photographed by legendary Gabriel Figueiroa.
