Following the death of their severe father, three brothers meet in their family home. The dutiful eldest son Necati, served his father to the last; Hassan is a worldly-wise sailor, the conqueror of open seas and women’s hearts; naïve young Mehmet grew up in Germany with their mother. Necati announces they must carry out their father’s last wish to bring the remains of a pilot friend killed in the war back to Turkey from Russia.
