Like Bon Voyage, Aventure Malgache was made during the war and the roles are likewise played by French actors. The aim of this propaganda short was to tackle the discord among the French who were resisting Germany. The story is told in flashbacks. Several theatre actors get into a discussion in their dressing room as they put on their make-up. One of them is a farmer lawyer from Madagascar, who tells his colleagues about his difficult legal battle against a corrupt police commissioner.
