Boris Lehman returns to Lausanne where he was born on March 3rd, 1944. He comes back there 44 years later. He had just lived there for one year. His parents had left Poiand as soon as the Nazi's seized power and fled to Belgium. They had to flee again during the occupation to reach Switzerland after a journey through France. Lehman does not remember anything of all this. His parents are dead, witnesses have disappeared. With only some documents and photographs found at the bottom of a memory box, he wanders through the city, searching for signs reminding of his presence...
