Where students and professionals meet

As an annual tradition, Film Fest Gent, KASK - School of Arts Gent and the World Soundtrack Awards coordinate the Film Music & Sound Seminar, an event organised for students in film, (film) music and sound design to learn and discuss about the artistic collaboration between filmmaker, composer and/or sound designer.

During one day, Martine Huvenne (KASK & Conservatorium, Ghent) invites different professionals to alk about their experiences and thoughts on scoring for motion pictures. The seminar is always illustrated with several film clips. After the Seminar, a matchmaking session between students of the 3rd bachelor and master in film, (film) music and sound design takes place.
