13:00-14:30 Panel discussion
Panel discussion with TV professionals on the importance of the development phase of television series (both creatively and financially). Speakers include Wim Janssen (één), Malin-Sarah Gozin (showrunner 'Tabula Rasa'), Sylvie Coquart-Morel (RTBF), Eilon Ratzkovsky (TorinoFilmLab's SeriesLab), Hans Christian Storrøsten (head writer of Norwegian drama 'Monster') and Eszter Angyalosy from HBO Europe (Development Editor).

Both talks are moderated by Michel Sabbe and are in cooperation with national broadcaster VRT, the Flanders Audiovisual Fund (VAF), Creative Europe Media Desk Flanders and the Flemish Screenwriters Guild. Click here to read more about the attending professionals.

14:30-15:30 Digital Storytelling
Culture Club and Film Fest Gent collaborated to investigate the possibilities of digital storytelling through Instagram stories. The result of this experiment, directed by Sahim Omar Kalifa and Lenny Van Wesemael among others, will be showcased as the closing event of the Serial Day.
