What are your tasks?

You will be

• initiating and following up the music programme meetings
• following up the production of Film Fest Gent's concerts (World Soundtrack Awards Gala and film music concert) by alligning with the concert hall, the technical partners, the music director. You will be in touch with the guests and the composers (f.e. asking for the scores).
• coordinating the voting process for the different awards: following up the longlists, the submission platform, the contacts with the nominees.
• monitoring the yearly composition contest, from launch to organising the jury meetings
• coordinating the concerts presented in collaboration with our partners
• following up the music programme in terms of ticketing, budget and communication
• the point of contact for all music projects, both internally (colleagues, WSA board, WSA Academy members) and externally (artists, partners, public, suppliers)
• responsible for keeping the WSA website up to date

What is your profile?

• you have experience with (music) production
• you are an enterprising person
• you can work efficiently and autonomously
• you are a team player
• you have excellent language skills in English and French
• you have an affinity with film music

• A full-time fixed-term contract from March 13, 2023 to August 18, 2023 with possible extension in the run-up to and during the 50th edition of Film Fest Gent (10 > 21 oktober 2023).
