* line with limited service during the day and no service during weekends.
N = night bus - 7 days a week until 1 am
Get home safely after a night out at the movies; our night busses take you home 7/7, until 01:00. Our 8 De Lijn night busses follow the same route as during the day and they have the same number, but with an additional ‘N’.
How does it work?
You can hop on and off at every bus stop in the city centre. Outside the centre, night busses only drive away from the city. After 23:00, you can travel from the bus terminus to the city. Be aware that it is not possible to hop off along the way to the centre.
At 23:00, 00:15 and 01:00, all night busses (except for N1) intersect at Gent Zuid. You can easily switch busses in any direction at these times.
Ghent is easily accessible by car, because it is located on the intersection of two major European motorways: the E17 and the E40. Are you coming by car? Why not leave it at one of the many park-and-ride car parks surrounding Ghent, where you can simply hop on a bus or tram that will take you directly to the city centre. Motorists looking for a parking spot near one of the venues, should be aware of the Circulation Plan that limits traffic in the city centre. Check your travel route on gent-circulatieplan.anyways.eu.
