Film Fest @ UGent 20 Oct: Shadow World

Science at the film festival? It’s possible! During Film Fest Gent, professors and lecturers from the University of Ghent will exchange their lecture halls for screening rooms to talk about films. Attention: all UGent events will be in Dutch, except the Shadow World Symposium (English). 

The four morning sessions consist of an introduction, the screening of a film and a discussion afterwards. 

On 20/10 prof. dr. Christel Stalpaert (Performing Arts and Media) will talk about Shadow World (Johan Grimonprez, 2016). After the Morning Session on 20/10 you have the prossibility to join the Symposium 'If you won't let us dream, we won't let you sleep' on arms trade in Vooruit (including lunch).

Tickets are €8 and include the full day program (including lunch in Vooruit)
