Film Fest Gent - Close Encounters With Vilmos Zsigmond

Without Vilmos Zsigmond (who died on January 1st 2016), American cinema of the seventies would not have been the same. Invited to Paris in 2014 to talk about his career, this legendary cinematographer accepts to find himself in front of the camera for an encounter of another kind.

A personal journey with the late Vilmos Zsigmond - the brightest shadow maker. Collaborators and colleagues chime in (such directors of photography as Vittorio Storaro, Darius Khondji and Dante Spinotti). "A rich visual assessment of arguably one of the greatest to ever hold a movie camera." (The Hollywood Reporter) (R.D.)
